E3 2019 may not have been the best yet but it certainly boasted some surprises.
Although most of the show was either middling or boring, this year’s E3 presented a brand-new plethora of games arriving at the current console generation’s last legs. Here are 10 of the best Games that were announced at E3 this year and we’re excited to play as soon as they come release.
Destroy All Humans Remake

The second most surprising of the games announced at E3 was this remake of the 2005 gem of a game which had you strolling around Southern United States as an alien to harvest DNA and in process wreak havoc on the humans. The remake sports a more cartoony art direction and unused narrative missions while the humor and acting remain the same.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Jedi Fallen Order follows Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan in hiding after Order 66 as he survives the Empire and their Inquisitor, The Second Sister. The gameplay demo shown at the conference boasts Respawn’s trademark wall running and fluid movement while also adding more force powers from the sequel trilogy and interesting ways to mix them up in combat.
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2

The sequel a lot of people have been waiting for the past 15 years showed its pre alpha teeth with its E3 demo. Bloodlines 2 takes place in modern day Seattle and starts you off as a Thinblood instead of a full vampire, prompting you to work your way up the ladder and initiate yourself into a clan in this colorful city which includes the series’ hallmark dancing.
Ghostwire Tokyo

Shinji Mikami’s newest IP after The Evil Within series goes for the more grounded horror experience which will require you taking on conspiracies, the occult and paranormal enemies straight from the old Japanese folklores in modern day Tokyo. While Mikami took a backseat, Creative Director Ikumi Nakamura certainly everyone’s hearts while introducing the game at the presentation.
Baldur’s Gate 3

Probably the most unexpected and exciting news surrounding the E3 week was Larian Games’ announcement of Baldur’s Gate 3. The creators of the masterful Divinity Original Sin series shocked everyone when they revealed they were taking on the world of Dungeons & Dragons and continuing Baldur’s Gate after 19 years.
Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 follows up on the original with improved zombie parkour action with a new protagonist, Aiden Caldwell as struggles to provide water and basic necessities for his people. Choices matter this time around as they shape the city and people around you and every action will have its consequences.
No More Heroes III

No More Heroes III takes place two years after Travis Strikes Again and this time Travis takes on alien assassins in cooler ninja action. The No More Heroes series is back to being Nintendo exclusive with no current plans for a PC release.
Watch Dogs Legion

London has fallen to a corrupt authoritarian regime using ctOS to monitor and control people. It’s up to the London branch of DedSec to take the fight to them by recruiting more members for the cause. Each NPC is playable and have their unique backstories, animations and voices thus possibly being the most ambitious game Ubisoft has put out to this date.
Final Fantasy VII Remake

Jump back into the city of Midgar in this episodic remake of the classic known as Final Fantasy. Fully built from the ground up and featuring new combat systems and story content, this game also features easily switchable party members with their own unique abilities.
Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 may not have featured any gameplay demos this year but it still won E3 with its new cinematic presentation and of course the surprise inclusion of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. Everyone streaming or live at the show screamed their hearts out as the “breathtaking” Keanu Reeves made his way to the stage and revealed the release date of 16 April 2020 and thus making everyone even more exhilarated for the game than ever before.
